Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary Seeks Community Support

The Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary, located just outside Cochrane, Alberta, has been announced as a finalist in the "Animal, Wildlife & Marine Welfare" category for the fourth annual Defender Service Awards presented by CHASE. They could win a new customized Defender 130 and $25,000.

The winner is chosen by public voting, which opens Oct. 2, 2024 and runs until Oct. 17. You can vote once a day, every day.

This year, the Sanctuary has rescued 22 new wolfdogs, leading to a 52% increase in residents. The $25,000 cash prize would be directly invested in building much-needed enclosures, offering safe and spacious homes for these animals. A new Defender would help them safetly pick up rescues, and get around their beautiul property in all weather conditions.
